Inge Bent Kindem, as founder and manager of Unitech Power Systems AS since its establishment in 1985, has decided to step down from his role as general manager of the company. Inge Bent Kindem will act as an adviser in the company for a few months before he retires.
From 1 January 2025, Tom Nestli has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tom Nestli joined Unitech Power Systems in 2012 and has since worked as a senior adviser and quality manager. Before joining us, he worked for many years at ABB, held an adjunct professorship at NTNU in Trondheim for a 6-year period and ran his own consulting business. Tom holds a PhD in electric power engineering from NTNU.
From the same date, Bjørn Bungum has taken up the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bjørn Bungum has been employed by Unitech Power Systems since 1990 and has for many years held the role of head of the company's advisory business. Bjørn holds a master's degree in electric power engineering from NTNU.
Tom Nestli has worked closely with Inge Bent Kindem and Bjørn Bungum in recent years, including developing the company's strategy and management structure, adapting to the company's planned growth within power system consultancy and digital solutions. We look forward to continuing our growth and development under Tom's leadership and with Bjørn in his new role.
