In the project a comprehensive review of the overall system perspective (Elhaz) has been carried out, focusing on system functionality, operational aspects and system security. Unitech Power Systems also performed specialized analyses, including studies on submarine cables, transformer inrush currents, electromagnetic compatibility, insulation coordination and transient over voltages.
Our team worked closely with Wood Group Mustang and Det norske oljeselskap (field development operator) and studies were submitted pursuant to schedule and budget.
Unitech Power Systems is following the project forward, supporting our customer during development, commissioning and operation. The project will ensure power supply to one of Norway's most important field developments in recent years.
