About us

Unitech Power Systems AS was established in 1985. After almost 40 years of operation, our company is recognized for its expertise within the design, analysis, and review of electrical power systems. Close to 50 specialists work for and with our clients from our offices in Stavanger, Oslo, and Fredrikstad.

We have recently delivered our first Cable Load Prediction System (CLPS), a real-time cable monitoring system to ensure transmission cables are not overheated, and we are in the process of developing a Power Analytics Monitoring System, a digital twin that monitors industrial power systems and allows training of operators and testing of network configurations prior to setting them live. We are establishing a new department to pursue these new business opportunities and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for this new Digital Solutions department.

The successful candidate will join the company's Senior Management Team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Digital Solutions department, driving business development, product strategies including Intellectual Property protection, and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing and sales activities for Digital Solutions, including customer relationship management.
  • Manage tendering processes and ensure successful delivery of Digital Solutions studies and projects.
  • Serve as Project Owner/Manager for Digital Solutions projects.
  • Provide leadership and personnel management for the Digital Solutions team, including CLPS and PAMS Product Responsible persons.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy development of the company.
  • Support the development and implementation of company-wide internal IT systems, including AI and IP protection.
  • Collaborate with the Power System Consultancy department to exchange knowledge and expertise.

 

Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Power Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, or Industrial Economics and Technology Management, with domain knowledge in the energy sector.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, with a deep understanding of commercial aspects and tendering processes.
  • Skilled in negotiating contracts, with the ability to discuss terms and conditions with legal advisers.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with excellent people and collaboration skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Over 10 years of relevant work experience.
